Senior VP Global RM Pricing & Analytics
Agnès is a valued member of HSMAI Region Europe’s Revenue Management Advisory Board.
Q: What does a day at work consist of for you?
A: My working days are never the same, which is pretty good! We are working on international projects, and at the same time looking constantly at our topline. It is mainly collaborative working with my team in Paris and with the countries. It is often far away from Paris, as we are regularly visiting countries to meet them, get best practices and give support.
Q: What’s the best part of your job?
A: Team management and people. I have a great team in Paris with RM and Advanced analytics experts. And I am working as well with a very active community of 800 revenue managers and analysts all over the world.
Q: Do you have anyone you’ve looked up to?
A: Nelson Mandela. He was a great leader with a big heart, peaceful authority, positive energy, the capacity to change the world. I had the chance to meet him in Paris, we shook hands…It was a real magic and memorable moment I will never forget.
Q: Do you have any nice traditions at your office?
A: AccorHotels logo is a “Bernache” which is a bird, symbol of travel and freedom. Every year, AccorHotels people with greatest achievements are rewarded with a Gold Bernache. The first time I have seen a “Bernaches” ceremony, I was moved with emotion, as much as those who were on stage !
Q: How long have you been a member of HSMAI?
A: For two years now.
Q: What do you think is the best thing about HSMAI?
A: Meeting people, sharing points of view, participating to Think tank…
Q: Are there any activities or projects you think HSMAI should start up?
A: HSMAI could deliver surveys about European Hospitality major stakes, taking advantage of hospitality data to know more about customers.
Q: Describe your perfect weekend.
A: With my family in a nice and quiet place, to unplug from our crazy daily life. During winter, it is ideally in the mountains in our chalet in the French Pyrénées. During summer, in a quiet place in front of the Mediterranean sea.
Q: If you were trapped on a desert island, what would you take with you, if you could choose one thing?
A: Well, I am not excited by the idea of being alone on a desert island. To survive at least one night, I would take a powerful insect repellent, an anti-mosquito lotion. I have a phobia of insects whereas they really love me!
Q: What is the title of the book about your life?
A: “Love, beloved and forgive”, my family core values, a motto from the latest novel of Joël Dicker “le Livre des Baltimore”.
Q: What is your next travel destination?
A: Venice, with my family, in a MGallery hotel, my preferred brand in AccorHotels portfolio.
Q: Do you have any special hobbies?
A: My hobbies are mainly about sports: tennis, diving, running, skiing… but being a mother of two young daughters is my main sports activity at the moment!
