20th October: HSMAI Region Europe invites you to an afternoon meeting in Helsinki

HSMAI Region Europe will be in Helsinki on Thursday 20th October 2016 for an afternoon meeting.

Come and hear interesting presentations and participate in discussions at the then-newly-opened Clarion Hotel Helsinki on Thursday 20th October 2016 from 3.00 pm until 6.00 pm including networking with drinks and snacks. We will also have the opportunity to have a private show-round of the brand new hotel.

by Nina Nieminen. One of the brightest minds in all things Revenue and Distribution in Finland, Nina has an impressive background in the Hospitality Industry and is currently the Director of Revenue Management and Distribution at SOK Travel and Hospitality Industry Chain Management (Sokos Hotels). Nina is also a valued member of the HSMAI Region Europe Distribution Advisory Board that started its operation this year.

– Creating a Magical Meeting Place from the perspective of Practical Customer Experience

by Jorma Pekkala. After almost 10 years of experience in various positions at Radisson Blu Hotels, Jorma is now the M&E Manager for the two soon-to-be-opened Clarion hotels in Helsinki. In his current role he continues to concentrate on exceptional customer experience and in this presentation will share his outlook on creation of memorable customer experiences in Meetings & Events as well as practicalities to consider when expanding a hotel chain to a new market.

– Tools and learnings of an Event Experience Designer: A conversation about how to organise and facilitate events that matter for people.

Case studies from Lisbon to Berlin on human-centric event design for millennial entrepreneurs.
