HSMAI Region Europe becoming active in Spain

On Tuesday 4th October HSMAI Region Europe held its Annual Digital Marketing Conference, this time taking place at the Melia Palas Atenea Hotel in Palma, Mallorca.

The programme consisted of local and international speakers from for example Meliá Hotels International, Google, Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, TripAdvisor, Palladium Hotel Group, Review Pro, Avvio, translations.com, and The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.

The day brought together many of the industry’s top innovators, thought leaders and digital marketers sharing their expertise and presenting some of the most successful case studies and best practises in the hospitality industry.

The Digital Marketing Conference in Palma was HSMAI Region Europe’s second event in Spain this year, the first one having been an afternoon event in Barcelona in June. Additionally the association organises around 50 events each year across the whole Europe.

“We are going to become very active in Spain moving forward,” says Ingunn Hofseth, President & CEO of HSMAI Region Europe. “It is an interesting new market for us and we already work with many local companies, including some of the biggest hotel chains such as NH Hotels, Melia Hotels International, and Iberostar Hotels and Resorts. We look forward to many more events both in Mallorca as well as other key locations in Spain like Barcelona and Madrid.”
