HSMAI Region Europe Event Trend Barometer

Great corporate culture doesn’t happen on its own accord and more and more companies use events to build their culture, and also more companies use events as part of their marketing strategy. HSMAI Region Europe have worked out an annual barometer for the developments in the event market – the HSMAI Event Trend Barometer. The survey will be done in Holland too in the Autumn of 2017 and afterwards on a yearly basis.

November 2nd 2017: Appreciative Leadership (with a personal touch :-) The key lesson I learned during my 19 years with HSMAI.

Over 60% of our customers turn their backs to our businesses due to lack of personal interest and attention. Over 70% of our employees find sincere appreciation and recognition for their work – in the long run – more important than their salaries! The good news? The ‘missing ingredient’ in both cases is the same, and in essence, not a matter of money. The bad news? That very same ingredient is so ultimately crucial to the degree of your success in both business and private life! And it is not for sale! If better personal relationships, more involvement and commitment from those around you and/or higher customer satisfaction is important to you, be sure not to miss this educational session!
Hans Poortvliet will step down by the end of the year – after 19 years – as managing director of HSMAI Holland. He’ll share with you that afternoon the ‘Key Instrument’ in both business and personal live he distilled from the 250+ educational programs he created over the years.
